Back to Singapore

22. October 2015 singapore, Travel 0

I have 1 more night in Singapore before I continue my journey to Auckland. This morning I took a 4hr morning bus from Melaka to Singapore, $12 (£5.50). I’m delighted to report that no one burped in my face stamping me back into the country, what a relief.

Not one to sit around, I spent the afternoon walking around Singapore until my feet hurt. I went to the top of Marina Bay Sands to the Ce La Vie bar & mused about admiring the view. City skylines aren’t my most favourite thing to view, but at that height it was impressive. Or it would have been impressive if it wasn’t for the haze.

Tonight Ireland play France in the rugby world cup & I will be going to an Irish pub to cheer on my team. No matter what country I’m in, I always follow my team & sports.

Tomorrow I will go to the airport to fly to Sydney then onwards to New Zealand. Ironically I have more friends in Sydney than I do in New Zealand. If I wasn’t so stuck for time I might have planned a few days there en route but I can always go after New Zealand. Another trip to plan…. Excellent 🙂
